Originally built in support of the “I Care” Campaign, the flag is 56 feet wide, illuminated at night, and a symbol of patriotism. The local area also hosts the Falkland Stampede. Originally started in 1919, the three-day rodeo includes dancing, camping, and professional cowboys competing for major cash prizes.
